Conducted Emissions Simulation in a DC-DC Converter

In the following slides, we look at an example of how we simulate the conducted electromagnetic interference emission levels from a DC-DC converter and compare it against regulatory limits set by the FCC.
Being able to perform an analysis like this before a prototype is built can save product development teams precious time and monetary costs. In addition, mitigation options can be explored before the first board is fabricated, as will be demonstrated in another example.
